TodaysMeet gives you an isolated room where your students can only converse with you and other students in your class.  No need to learn any new tools like hash tags to keep everything together. A great "back channel" real time conversation.

Blendspace with Mrs. Farr's 5th Period Today!

Assignment: Progressive Era Blendspace (see Mrs. Farr's handout for full directions)

When you sign up for Blendspace, make sure you choose "Sign up with a Google Account" and use your student ID @hallco.org as your Google email and your regular Hallco computer login password.  You will be redirected to Connect to reenter these credentials, then Blendspace will automatically be connected to your Google drive files.
  1. Political Topics
    • Loupe Collage - Google App
      • Can Save as a jpg to your Google Drive and upload the picture
      • Can link directly to the Loupe Collage on web
    • Political Cartoon - Web link
      • Response (2 Options)
        •  Use Google Doc  make public in share settings to anyone with the link, use web link to insert -- any changes you make to doc will automatically be updated on blendspace
        • Use Google Doc and drag over into blendspace -- changes will NOT be updated.  Document will show with edits at the time you added it.
  2. Social Topics
    • Reading - weblink
      • 7 questions: Blendspace Quiz or type out questions on a google doc and insert using response options from #1 above
    • Narrative - google doc and insert using response options from #1 above
  3. Economic Topics
    • Youtube or other videos (weblink for non youtube)
      • 5 questions about video -  Blendspace Quiz or type out questions on a google doc and insert using response options from #1 above
    • Flyer -  google doc and insert using response options from #1 above
  4. Overall
    • Review Games - insert weblink for each
    • News Report - can directly upload the video to blendspace OR upload to Google Docs and use an App to edit like WeVideo.
